Biography

Susan is an asset management professional with 21 years experience in asset management. She is Principal of her infrastructure asset management advisory, S RebaƱo-Edwards Consulting providing infrastructure strategic asset management advisory services. She has worked predominantly in Australia and the New Zealand government sectors. Her experience in public sector infrastructure asset management includes state, local and central government owned assets. She has experience in a diversity of public assets such as schools, vocational education centres, roads, national/state highways, bridges, footpaths, cycleways, parks, recreation, water, wildlife, airport, solid waste and stormwater infrastructure assets. She is a qualified architect (to PhD level), infrastructure planner and has globally recognised qualifications in asset management - Certified Asset Management Assessor (CAMA) and Certified Practitioner of Asset Management (CPAM). Value realisation and the value chain concept in asset management are personal research interests which she is pursuing in her spare time.
