Biography

Lucien Laverdure - Lucien is a Partner within the Tangible Asset Valuation and Advisory Services at PwC and has been involved in conducting fixed asset system analyses, condition inspections, and valuations across a range of industries and asset types including infrastructure, energy, utilities, processing facilities, manufacturing, health, education, and transport. Lucien has training in Asset Management from Engineers Australia focusing on ‘whole of life’ asset management based on the ISO 55000 Asset Management framework and suite of standards. Prior to joining PwC, Lucien worked for an engineering consultancy and has a strong interest in providing decision-makers with the knowledge and support to make informed financial and strategic decisions. He has experience through the entire asset lifecycle from feasibility through design, construction, and operations. Toby Kent - Toby is a Partner in the Energy Transition team at PwC and leads our environmental, social, and governance (ESG) work with privately owned, non-listed, and small-cap companies. Before joining PwC Australia, Toby held roles as head of Sustainability and Climate Change in PwC Hong Kong and Global Head of Sustainable Development at ANZ Bank. Toby was Australia's first Chief Resilience Officer (CRO), appointed under the Rockefeller Foundation's prestigious Global Resilient Cities initiative, representing metropolitan Melbourne. As CRO, he supported Commonwealth Government on a number of resilience initiatives, including advising on Australia’s Vulnerability Profile, and leading workshops for EMA with Australia New Zealand Emergency Management Committee (ANZEMC). Toby created and delivered Australia's first urban resilience strategy across 32 Melbourne councils, State government, private and not-for-profit organisations. He is a Board member of the Business Council for Sustainable Development Australia
