Biography

For the past ten years Richard has been instrumental in driving the uptake of asset visualization technologies throughout Australia. Combining his previous 15 years of experience in data analytics and consumer insights with innovative image visualisation techniques such as photogrammetry and point clouds, played a role in the adoption of 3D asset visualisation in a range of industries such as mining, oil and gas, defence and public infrastructure projects. Richard has an Aeronautical Engineering degree at Kingston University in London, with a broad practical experience in Data Capture using UAV technologies. Richard has recently joined Intertek, with a focus on delivering innovation to its global asset inspection services. Richard is often asked to present at industry conferences regarding the use of digital technologies in asset management applications

Biography

Anthony Roe Anthony has been a protagonist in the topic of asset visualization and the industrial operationalization of digital twins for over a decade. He spent the first half of his career in the Oil and Gas, Utilities and Mining sector in the UK, including leading some Engineering “first of a kind” projects in the UK such as the construction of Drax Powers Flue Gas Desulphurization plant and PE Drum screens for the Water Sewage Industry. He is a certified Mechanical and Production Engineer and holds a degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Sunderland. The second half of his career has been in Technology, holding a number of senior leadership positions with IBM, ABB and Downer Group. In the last 4 year he has been involved in the delivery of visualization platforms with technology layers of Photogrammetry, Point-cloud, BIM models and advanced analytics. These programs have been primarily in the oil and gas, mining and transport sectors. The key focus being asset performance management maturity, safety and ESG compliance.
