Biography

Dr. Rina Peach, Pr.Eng., is a Senior Lecturer specializing in Asset and Maintenance Management at the Graduate School of Technology Management, University of Pretoria, South Africa. With a robust academic background, Dr. Peach holds an undergraduate degree in Electronic Engineering, an Honour’s degree in Technology Management, a Master’s degree in Engineering Management with a specialization in Maintenance and Asset Management, and a Doctoral degree in Engineering Management. Bringing a wealth of industry experience spanning 16 years, she holds Senior Membership status with the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). Dr. Peach's research focus revolves around the impact of maintenance human factors on maintenance quality and the implementation of Maintenance 4.0 within organizations. Since 2017, she has served as a study leader for MEng (Masters) Engineering Management students at the University of Pretoria. In addition to guiding postgraduate students, Dr. Peach imparts knowledge through presenting Honours and Master classes and conducting short courses for Enterprises University of Pretoria. Her commitment to advancing knowledge in her field and bridging academia with industry expertise underscores her impactful contributions to the realm of Asset and Maintenance Management.
